1. What the hell happened to AOL? Is AOL going belly up? I remember when I was a kid, AOL was how EVERYONE got online! NetZero was FREE, dialup was king, and everyone was somethingorother@aol.com! Now I guess Time Warner and AOL part ways and they’re slowly fading away. They have one of the BEST online radio players out right now, and they also have great musicians play at their sessions@aol thing, but it looks like it’ll happen no matter what. I still have an AOL e-mail, and used it for my dominant address until I signed up for MobileMe for the “push” they offer. I NEVER thought I’d PAY just for an e-mail address, but I also didn’t think AOL would stay so far behind the times. I’ll be rooting for AOL, I’ve spent an awful lot of years using their services, some even for FREE, but I’m not sure they’re going to be around a whole lot longer.
